Service Description

The workshop aims to explore the possibilities of combining AI explorations and virtual reality to create immersive architectural experiences. It will provide an introduction to VR technology and AI algorithms, as well as hands-on training on how to integrate these two technologies in architectural design. Participants then will be introduced to AI algorithms such as 3D GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks) and Nerfs (Neural Radiance Fields) and how they can be used to generate complex 3D models and 3D scenes. We will also cover topics such as data processing, machine learning, and neural networks, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the underlying technology. Towards the end of the workshop students will be able to create their own immersive spatial experiences inside Unreal Engine 5. Week 1: Introduction to AI in Architecture Understanding the basics of VR and AI Overview of VR hardware and software options Understanding how VR and AI can enhance architecture design Week 2: Creating an AI Model, 3D GANs and NERFs Overview Introduction to AI and machine learning Overview of Point-E Open Ai, a machine learning framework Creating 3D Models and Scenes Week 3: Designing an Unreal and VR Environment Introduction to UE5 Creating a VR environment using UE5 Importing 3D models and assets into a VR themed environment Week 4: Integrating AI and VR inside UE5 Using AI to generate realistic and efficient building designs and spatial experiences Implementing AI-driven interactive features in VR Week 5: Compiling the Project Implementing user testing and feedback Refining the Architecture environment and AI model based on user feedback Week 6: Final Project Using everything learned in the workshop to create a final Unreal Project Presentation of final project to the class and discussion of the design process Level: BEGINNERS Location: ONLINE Studio: Studio Chantal Matar Ltd.
