Explore the fusion of AI, procedural design, and motion in architecture. Learn to harness Houdini and AI-driven patterns to create adaptive structures inspired by dance and biomechanics. In this workshop we will cover how movement and algorithmic intelligence can shape dynamic environments, creating fluid, responsive designs that evolve with interaction. We will also cover how AI interprets human motion, transforming it into architectural expressions that push the boundaries of traditional form-making. Core Themes: - AI as a Design Partner: Use AI tools (Midjourney) for generative architecture. - Dynamic Architecture: Design movement-responsive elements influenced by environmental inputs. - Dance as Metaphor: Apply motion data to 3D structures for kinetic, performative spaces. Workshop Structure (5 Hours) - Introduction (15 min) - AI in architecture, kinetic design, case studies, Houdini overview. - Generating AI-driven procedural structures in Houdini. (2 Hours) - Capturing & applying motion data to architectural structures. (1 Hour) Break (10 mins) - AI-enhanced rendering & animation for storytelling. (1.5 Hours) - Closing & Q&A (5 min): Real-world applications & integration into practice.
