GROWTH VOL 2.0 [Online Edition] 1 session of 4 hours May 14th, 2022 3:00 - 7:00PM BST GROWTH VOL 2.0 will investigate generative growing structures in Houdini and focus on aggregation and vector swirl systems. Participants will also be exposed to VEX and system functions, in order to create live growing systems and solid structures. We will give varying solid mesh geometry representations to the growth, as well as materials. Finally, we will show how to set up the render inside Keyshot. The session will be interactive and practical, with lots of opportunities to ask questions and discuss with your tutor and classmates. Class size will be limited to allow for each participant to receive individual feedback and assistance during the class. Students will be asked to enter a competition and showcase two weeks' worth of work post the workshop. The first 3 places will get a free Foundation invite and dive into the NFT world. This workshop is open to beginner and intermediate levels. We will gradually develop complexity as we progress with the class material. The webinar includes: Live online session with Chantal via ZOOM. Exclusive access to Session Recording for two months period after live workshop completion. Materials: An up-to-date web browser (Firefox or Chrome) Microphone and headphones. Webcam. Strong Internet connection via WiFi or ethernet. A desktop or laptop computer.
